Trail Updates

August 14, 2015

The Greenprints Trail System is continuing to expand. If you haven’t taken a look at the trail map near the back of the Sixes Living August magazine, it is not too late. Visit the map below, or take a look at page 62 in the virtual magazine to see new additions that are on deck for 2016.

Noonday Creek TrailWoodstock and Canton Trails

This 1.43 mile paved trail begins at Market Street in Downtown Woodstock one block west of Main Street. It continues downhill toward Noonday Creek where it intersects with Towne Lake Pass Trail and the brig to Woofstock Park. The trail continues along Noonday Creek to its current end at Highway 92.

Trestle Rock Trail

This 0.40 mile paved trail is located in Olde Rope Mill Park and is an easy flat trail on the banks of Little River.

Towne Lake Pass (2016)

This approximately 1.2 mile trail will connect the Towne Lake community to Downtown along the banks of Noonday Creek. It will begin at the intersection of Towne Lake Parkway and Towne Lake Hills South.

Rubes Creek Trail (2016)

This 1 mile paved trail runs along Rubes Creek and will ultimately connect into a larger run of trails.

This most recent updated in the Sixes Living publication only highlights a portion of what is on the ground already and what is planned. We want to hear from you! What are your favorite trails, and do you prefer to bike, hike, or run them?
