On Tour in March-The Compassion Experience

March 6, 2015

The Community Calendar on pages 24 and 25 of the February issue shared that the Compassion Experience is coming on tour to Georgia. The Change the Story interactive tour experience will take place at Revolution Church in Canton, GA March 6-9 and at Stonecreek Church in Alpharetta, GA March 20-23.

As a part of Compassion International, the Change the Story tour allows visitors to take an interactive journey through the life of a specific child living in a developing country. Visitors make their way through a 3,000 square foot exhibit space that will allow them to peek into what life is like for a child struggling with poverty. Marketplaces, homes, and schools in developing countries such as Uganda, India, and Bolivia will be visited without having to step foot out of Georgia. An iPod and headset will help navigate the journey for children and adults as they walk through the story scene of a child’s life beginning with poverty and ending with hope.

This experience is open to groups and individuals, but a space must be reserved. You can reserve space by visiting the Change the Story website for the Canton location and the Alpharetta location.
