The summer line up for Movies in the Park in Canton is ready! All that is missing is you! Mark your calendars, and don’t miss these fabulous evenings in Browns Park in downtown Canton.
Penguins of Madagascar-June 20
Dreamwork’s Home-July 18
Paddington-August 22
Movies are intended to be family and kid friendly. Founder of Southern Outdoor Cinema and father of two, Paul Murray, provides movie reviews on the Southern Outdoor Cinema blog. These reviews are written from the perspective of a parent, so you’ll know exactly what to expect before viewing the movie with your little ones just in case you’ve not seen them before.
Start times for the free movie series begin at sundown. The series in downtown Canton, and at locations beyond including Cumming and Dawsonville, is sponsored by Northside Hospital, Regal Nissan, LGE Credit Union, Chill Hill, and Southern Outdoor Cinema.
Grab your family and friends, a blanket, chairs, snacks, and your own popcorn for a movie night under the trees and under the stars! Watch the TowneLaker Magazine and Around Woodstock Magazine, our sister publications, for more information regarding the outdoor movies returning to Woodstock’s Park at City Center on Halloween and again during the Christmas festivities on December 5.
For more information about Georgia Movies in the Park visit their Facebook page and Southern Outdoor Cinema blog.
See you at the movies!
