Happy New Year from Sixes Living

January 2, 2015

Welcome to 2015! We hope that 2014 was full of great memories for you and your families. As our staff turned the page to open a new year, many of us worked on New Year’s resolutions or New Year’s goals!

Whether you take New Year’s resolutions or goals seriously or not, there are numerous blogs, websites, tweets, and other genres of resources and advice individuals have for how to start the new year right. Some of these originate from our own community.New Year's Goals

Take a look at the Twitter feed of Woodstock’s own Johnny Hunt to see that he will be starting the new year sharing a great way to begin 2015. And Atlantian Tim Elmore of Growing Leaders shares his ritual on how he enters a new year on purpose!

Here are a few of the questions Tim Elmore shared on his blog as he considers his goals for the new year:

  1. What are my greatest dreams for 2015?  What projects will these dreams require of me? What daily actions must I engage in to fulfill them?
  2. What standards will I live by, throughout the next year:
    • Health Standards
    • Family Standards
    • Financial Standards
    • Friendship Standards
    • Personal / Spiritual Standards
  3. In what areas of my life do I most want to grow in 2015?

Read more of the thought provoking questions that Tim Elmore enters the year with in his article titled, “The One Thing I Do At the Beginning of Each Year.”

What questions do you ask yourself to start off the new year right in the Sixes Living area of Canton and Holly Springs? Share with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Google + !
