More About American Girl

Since the debut of their first catalog in 1986, American Girl has provided inspiring products for young girls through an array of high-quality books, dolls, clothes, toys and accessories. The nine-year-old fictional heroines of the historical American Girl dolls live during important times in America’s past, providing a “girl’s-eye-view” of significant events that helped shape our country. In 1992, the company launched American Girl magazine, a publication dedicated to shaping young girls’ views on self-esteem and both celebrating accomplishments and encouraging creativity. In 1995, they launched a line of contemporary dolls that allowed girls to create a doll that’s just like her.
Atlanta is one of the handful of cities in the country with an American Girl store, located over at Northpoint Mall in Apharetta. To learn more about the American Girl franchise, you can visit their website.
