Get ready, folks. The theme for First Friday this August is Jeep Night! From 6-9 p.m. downtown Canton will be Jeep headquarters.
What originally began as the first SUV for World War II is now one of the most celebrated cars for adventurists and car enthusiasts. With their rugged nature and signature build, Jeeps have rightfully developed a solid following.
If you’ve got a Jeep, we hope you get there early to put your beauty on display. To park on the main street and be part of the display, Jeep owners are encouraged to arrive downtown at 5 p.m. as parking will close at 6 p.m. Don’t worry though, you’ll be able to leave at 9 p.m.
Entertainment
We’re excited to announce the music will be the incredibly talented country artist Thomas Fountain. He’s opened for acts like Kelly Pickler and now this local favorite is coming back to Canton. Judging by his tour schedule he’s only going to get bigger. See him at our intimate venue while you can before you’re fighting the rest of Atlanta for parking at Philip’s Arena.
Scavenger Hunt
They’ve got a brand-spankin’ new Brinkmann gas grill donated by The Home Depot ready to go home with you! Download and print the scavenger hunt card to the right, go to each business to get your card stamped. Collect the stamps from each business and turn in your stamped cards to the Gazebo by 8:40 p.m. on First Friday for your chance to win!
There will be an assortment of local food and vendors and of course, Jeeps!
